RIYADH, March 24 (KUNA) -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayyani received a letter from Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lt.-Gen. Staff Abdulrahman Mohammad Al-Othman.
The Kuwaiti military attach to Saudi Arabia Major General Musa'ad Nassar Al-Mutairi told KUNA that he handed Al-Zayani on Sunday a letter including an official invitation for him to lecture students at Mubarak al-Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College by next Wednesday.
Mubarak al-Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College abbreviated in English as MAJCSC is a military educational institution in Kuwait City, Kuwait, which prepares field grade officers to lead at the operational level of warfare.
The British Embassy in Kuwait considers the College to be "the premier college of its type in the Gulf. It trains and educates officers from all military services and all nations in the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The College is named after Lieutenant General Mubarak Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Chief of General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces from 1963 to 1980. (end) yms.lb KUNA 241035 Mar 14NNNN
