KUNA Board Chairman and Director-General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah receives Kuwaiti Ambassador to Japan Abdulrahman Al-Oteibi

KUWAIT, Feb 4 (KUNA) -- KUNA Board Chairman and Director-General Sheikh
Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah met in his office on Tuesday Kuwaiti
Ambassador to Japan Abdulrahman Al-Oteibi.
During the meeting, they discussed the role of mass media in supporting
diplomatic efforts exerted by Kuwaiti embassies for the promotion of Kuwaiti
relations with different world countries.
The ambassador hailed KUNA's efforts in this regard and its keenness on
working with Kuwaiti embassies for the development of people-to-people
relations.
He also appreciated recently introduced services by KUNA to deepen
communications between Kuwaiti expatriates and their homeland.
On his part, Sheikh Mubark Al-Duaij said KUNA does its best to bolster
Kuwaiti diplomatic efforts abroad, boasting about Kuwaiti political successes
for the promotion of Kuwait's status across the world.
He reiterated KUNA's eagerness to cooperate and communicate with different
state institutions and to provide media support for them to serve the interest
of the nation and citizens. (end)
