Arab FMs meet in Cairo over Syrian conflict

CAIRO, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- Arab foreign ministers held an extraordinary meeting on Sunday to discuss the conflict in Syria and preparations for the Geneva II conference.
President of the Syrian National Coalition of Revolutionary Forces and Opposition Ahmad Al-Jarba would be addressing the meeting over the coalition's position over the crisis in Syria and the Geneva II.
The foreign ministers will be discussing endeavors of UN-Arab League Special Representative to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi to prepare for the Geneva II, probably later this month.
Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby will table a report over the Syrian conflict, part of ongoing efforts by Brahimi and Al-Araby to stop bloodshed, provide aid for the Syrian people and solve the crisis peacefully.
Libya, rotating President of the Foreign Ministers' Council, will also table a report over the Syrian conflict, which has so far killed more than 100, 000 people and displaced millions others.
Kuwait is represented by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. (end) ms.mab.bs KUNA 032034 Nov 13NNNN
