DOHA, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- Qatar confirmed Thursday a new case of coronavirus
disease, a 61-year-old citizen.
The male patient was suffering from chronic illness and was diagnosed with
the flu in the National Central, however, he is currently being treated and in
stable health condition, Qatari Supreme Council of Health (SCH) said in a
statement.
The statement added the patient didn't travel for two weeks prior to the
infection, and that had not been in contact with anyone suffering from
coronavirus.
HSC noted that all family members of the patient were examined and
preliminary results were negative. (end)
