Kuwaiti women handball team was defeated by the UAE team
KUWAIT, Oct 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti women handball team was defeated by the UAE
counterpart 16-18, in the first GCC Women Handball Tournament, which started
Thursday and will continue until October 8.
The Kuwaiti team lost after showing a strong and interesting performance,
and was, at one point in the first halftime, leading 7-5.
However, with the beginning of the second half, UAE team returned to the
match and strongly regaining the lead.
Despite the improving performance and short list of mistakes, UAE speed in
scoring was decisive in ending the match to their favor. (end)
