BAGHDAD, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- At least 11 people were killed as a suicide
bomber blew up himself at a funeral party in Al-Adhamiya district, north
Baghdad, on Monday.
The bomber was wearing an explosive belt and exploded it as he entered the
funeral party in Raghebat Khaton neighborhood, a police officer told KUNA
here, noting that the attack wounded 32 mourners.
The attack is part of a spate of blasts that targeted funeral parties in
the Baghdad districts of Sadr City and Durra and killed more than 100 people
in the last two days. (end)
