ALGIERS, July 29 (KUNA) -- Authorities of Algiers international airport
diverted all incoming flights to the Wahran and Annaba airports after a fire
broke out in the control tower Monday.
An electricity spark caused a fire in the tower, the authorities said in a
statement, forcing delay of departing airplanes.
The fire also forced the airport authorities to divert all incoming flights
to the Western Wahran airport and Eastern Annaba airport.
An investigation was underway to know the reasons of the incident. (end)
