Kuwait starts trial operation of linkage with GCC power gird

KUWAIT, July 28 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Ministry of Electricity and Water announced Sunday the start of the trial operation of Kuwait linkage to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) interconnection power grid.
In a press statement, Assistant Undersecretary of the National Electricity Monitoring and Control Center Fouad Al-Duaij Al-Own, announced the trial operation of the linkage between the Kuwait National Electricity Monitoring and Control Center and Saudi Arabia-based GCC Interconnection Control center.
