SANAA, June 13 (KUNA) -- Yemeni security forces arrested on Thursday two
members of Al-Qaeda in Sheikh Othman city in the southern governorate of Aden.
The two men, a Saudi national and a Yemeni, were planning for terrorist
operations against vital military and civilian targets; they were nabbed
during a police crackdown on a suspected house, the Yemeni Interior ministry
said in a statement.
The security services found two improvised bombs, weighing one kg and 1.5
kg, ready for detonation, according to the statement. (end)
