KUWAIT, June 11 (KUNA) -- Equate Petrochemicals Co. said that some
industrial units forced off, due to a power outage which lasted for about two
hours Tuesday morning, are now in full working order.
The blackout was a result of periodical maintenance conducted by local
Ministry of Electricity and Water staff on one of the company's power
generators, KUNA was told in a statement.
Furthermore, no casualties were reported, and the company extended its
gratitude for the quick ministry response to restoring power. (end)
