ISTANBUL, Feb 15 (KUNA) -- The number of Syrian refugees in Turkey has
skyrocketed to 182,621, the Turkish Ikhlas news agency reported on Friday.
Since the outbreak of unrest in Syria in March 2011, a total of 257,663
Syrians have fled to Turkey; of whom 75,042 have returned to Syria while there
are still 182,621 living in refugee camps, the news agency cited Turkish
cabinet sources as saying.
Syrian refugees are living in 14 camps sprouting in several border cities,
it pointed out.
Turkish authorities provide shelter, food, medical and educational services
to Syrian refugees. (end)
