BAGHDAD, Oct 8 (KUNA) -- Iraq announced on Monday execution of 11 persons
convicted of terrorism bringing number of executed terrorists to 23 in less
than a week.
"The convicts are involved in killing and explosions that targeted Iraqi
nationals and have all been convicted according to the fourth article of the
anti-terrorism law," the ministry said in a statement
All peremptory challenges have been exhausted as the Iraqi president has
signed their execution verdicts.
This brought the number of convicted terrorists who have been executed,
since last Thursday, to 23. (end)
