LIMA, Oct 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah arrived here to represent His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in the Third Summit of the South American-Arab Countries (III ASPA Summit).
The Summit, slated to open in Peru's capital, Lima, later today and to last until tomorrow, will mainly discuss economic opportunities between the two regions.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled is accompanied by his Office Director Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Al-Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Ambassador to the Arab League Jamal Al-Ghuneim and the country's Ambassador to the Republic of Chile and non-resident in the Republic of Peru Reem Al-Khalid.
Ambassador Al-Khalid held a dinner banquet in honor of the Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister and the delegation accompanying him upon their arrival late on Sunday. (end) kt.gta KUNA 010902 Oct 12NNNN
