Two Israeli planes violate Lebanese space

BEIRUT, Aug 24 (KUNA) -- Two Israeli reconnaissance planes violated the Lebanese airspace at different times on Friday in a clear breach of UN resolution 1701, the Lebanese army said.
It said in a statement the first plane violated the airspace from over the southern border town of Naqura and circled over the areas of Reyaq, Baalbek, Hermel and Arz for four hours.
The second aircraft flew over southern areas and Shouf in Mount Lebanon for more than three hours, it added.
Israeli has been violating the Lebanese airspace on a daily basis, as well as occupying the northern part of the Ghajar village, Shebaa Farms and Kfar Shuba hills. Israel, in violation of UN resolution 1701, was also installing buoys inside the Lebanese territorial waters. (end) ayb.bs KUNA 242025 Aug 12NNNN
