BAGHDAD, Aug 10 (KUNA) -- At least five people were killed and over 122 others wounded in two suicide bombings in northern Iraq.
In Barteleh district, 35 km east of Mosul, a suicide bomber targeted worshipers leaving a Shiite gathering place, to kill four people and injure over 60 others.
In a press statement, Governor of Niniveh, Atheel al-Nijaifi condemned that deadly attack of the Shiite place, warning that the attack is meant to instigate tension between Iraqis of different sects.
He also vowed to crack down on the terrorists who stand behind such criminal acts. (end) mhg.ibi KUNA 102013 Aug 12NNNN
