CAIRO, Jan 29 (KUNA) -- At least three Egyptians were injured Sunday in
fresh clashes near the official Radio and Television Union headquarters, known
as Maspero, in downtown Cairo, the Ministry of Health announced.
"The injured have been rushed to two nearby hospitals where they received
necessary treatment," Head of the Central Department for Intensive Care and
Emergency at the Ministry of Health Khaled Al-Khateeb told reporters.
"They had some cuts and bruises and their condition is stable now," he said.
Clashes erupted Sunday afternoon between some protestors and alleged
residents Maspero area where protesters started a sit-in since Wednesday to
demand military rulers to step down. (end)
