BERLN, Feb 16 (KUNA) -- The Germany Defense Ministry announced here on
Monday that a dangerous virus called "Conficker" hacked hundreds of computers
of the German Army, the "Bundeswehr."
A spokesman of the ministry said army commanders advised that all computers
in army service centers should be disconnected from the internet, to avoid
being hacked by this virus.
He added that a virus attack started last Thursday, damaging a number of
computers, where computer engineers fixed the ruined ones, while computer
experts advised not to open any sent strange file, suspected of containing a
damaging virus. (end)
