Palestinians warn Israel against continued attacks at Islamic holy sites

GAZA, July 18 (KUNA) -- Some Palestinian military wings belonging to resistance factions warned on Tuesday Israeli occupation against continued attacks on the Islamic holy sites and Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
In a joint news conference, the Palestinian factions said they would retaliate if Israel continues such attacks against Al-Aqsa.
They added that they would not allow Israel to commit violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque, the holy sites and citizens of Jerusalem, noting that such acts of Israel against Al-Aqsa is an unprecedented plight".
They urged all Muslims across the world to defend Al-Aqsa to avoid dangerous repercussions in the near future due to such violations committed by Israel.
The wings said this aggression on Al-Aqsa would lead to an explosion in the region, adding that they will prepare themselves well to start the phase of cleansing Al-Aqsa and liberate Palestine.
They called on all Palestinians in the West Bank, Jerusalem and the "48 territories" to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque, expressing their solidarity with citizens of Jerusalem. (end) wab.amm.hm
