BRUSSELS, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- The EU condemned Monday the attack on the Baquir Al-Uloom mosque in Kabul, Afghanistan, which has claimed the lives of at least 28 Afghan civilians and injured many more.
"The European Union stands by the Afghan authorities and people in the fight against terrorism, and remains committed to helping the Afghan people to achieve a peaceful and prosperous future," said a spokesperson for EU High Representative Federica Mogherini in a statement.
"We offer our condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wish a swift recovery to those who were injured," it added. (end)
