Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah
KUWAIT, Dec 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwait and the UAE's successive leaders have been eager to consolidate deep-rooted and historic relations between the two sisterly countries, Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah said on Wednesday.
Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf made the statement on the sidelines of a UAE Embassy's ceremony on the 54th National Day of the UAE.
He noted that the Kuwait-UAE are well-seated and robust over decades, thanks to all successive rulers of both sides.
He expressed his pride for the success made by the 46th session of the GCC Supreme Council hosted by Bahrain earlier in the day in strengthening the cohesion among the GCC leaders and peoples, and reaching positive and constructive outcomes on all levels.
Holding its weekly meeting on Tuesday, the Kuwait Cabinet congratulated the UAE on this occasion, which falls on December 2, wishing UAE people further security, safety and prosperity. (end)
