Minister Al-Huwailah: Children "bases of present and future"

KUWAIT, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- Minister of Social Affairs, Family Affairs and Childhood Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah on Thursday affirmed the State of Kuwait's firm advocacy of child rights and protection emanate from the strong belief that children are "the bases of the present and future." Minister Al-Huwailah, also Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, was speaking during the conference, "child empowerment is a right not an option," organized by the Kuwait Bar Association in partnership with the supreme council, coinciding with the World Children's Day.
