VIENNA, Nov 4 (KUNA) -- The 14th session of the Assembly of Parties to the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) began Monday at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna, with broad international participation including the State of Kuwait.
Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the United Nations and International Organizations in Vienna, Ambassador Talal Al-Fassam, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that Kuwait's participation reflects its commitment to supporting global efforts to combat corruption and strengthen integrity, transparency, and the rule of law.
He stressed that Kuwait gives great importance to developing institutional and human capabilities in anti-corruption fields, noting that cooperation with IACA is a key pillar for capacity-building, expertise exchange, and advancing professional practices.
Al-Fassam underlined that combating corruption requires sustained international cooperation due to its cross-border nature and impact on sustainable development, affirming Kuwait's continued support for initiatives promoting transparency and good governance at all levels. (end) amg.aai
