Kuwait cautions against hunting in nature reserves

KUWAIT, Nov 1 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior warned on Saturday against entering, hunting or wandering in nature reserves in the country, billing this as a breach of law that necessitates necessary legal action.
The warning is part of ongoing efforts to preserve natural environment and protect wildlife from any violations or illegal practices, the ministry said in a press release.
It underlined that vehicles, tools and falcons used in hunting in nature reserves would be impounded, and that legal action would be taken against lawbreakers, in collaboration with concerned bodies.
Therefore, it asked citizens and residents alike to absolutely abide by law and guidelines and steer away from nature reserves in a bid to preserve environment and safeguard natural resources. (end) ahk.mt
