MoH prioritizing support to national medical cadres

KUWAIT, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- Minister of Health and chairman of the board of trustees of Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi affirmed on Thursday that supporting qualified national medical professionals is a key priority of the Ministry's strategy.
Al-Awadhi made the statement during the awareness day for recent medical graduates and final-year medical students, under his patronage and in the presence of some officials.
He lauding the institute's role on rehabilitating and preparing future's doctors.
The ministry is keen on creating an educational and training environment to support excellence and innovation, and keep pace with global developments, said a statement, citing the minister.
Investing in young medical energy directly impacts on services offered to society and enhances Kuwait's position on regional and international levels, he noted.
The wariness day includes a detailed visual presentation on the mechanism of main training, along with a review of Kuwait's board programs and scholarships in a way that contributes to educating new doctors about their future educational paths. (end) aa.hm
