RAMALLAH, Aug 24 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Presidency on Sunday said the Israeli occupation policy of genocide and starvation toward Gaza and other Palestinian territories ultimately aims at evicting the Palestinian people from their lands and pursuing settlements' construction.
Nabil Abu Rdainah, the presidential spokesperson, said in a press statement that the state of occupation has been defying all calls by the international community to halt the war and the practices that contradict resolutions of the international legitimacy and the international laws.
Alluding to some of the latest aggression, Abu Rdainah indicated at the occupation forces' attack on the village of Al-Mughair, where they demolished and sabotaged properties, while settlers attacked Palestinians in other regions such as Jenin and Tulkarm.
The US Administration is responsible for the continuation of this annihilating Israeli policy that would eventually leads to regional chaos, he said, questioning Washington's unjustified and irresponsible silence in this regard.
It is high time for the world to take action and coerce Israel into abandoning its aggressive policy "before it is too late," he stressed. (end) nq.rk
