CAIRO, Aug 22 (KUNA) -- Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Moroccan peer Nasser Bourita discussed on Friday some regional and international issues, topped with Palestine's cause and situations in Syria, Lebanon, Libya and Sudan.
Over the telephone, the two ministers dealt also with means of boosting bilateral relations in all fields, in addition to issues of common interest, Egypt's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Both sides stressed deep-rooted relations and bonds between their countries, renewing commitments to upgrading collaboration, it noted.
They expressed hope for bolstering political consultation mechanisms, as well as investment, educational, cultural and economic cooperation in a way that meets aspirations of the two nations and boost mutual interests.
On Africa, the two ministers underlined the importance of continued joint efforts to strengthen joint African action mechanisms and the role of African Union in addressing the issues in the domains of peace, security and development, the statement concluded. (end)
