Egyptian President meets with the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander of Bahrain and Special Operations Commander
CAIRO, Aug 18 (KUNA) -- Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi affirmed his country's keenness to continue cooperation with Bahrain in all fields, reflecting the strong historical relations between both countries, especially on account of the challenges facing the region, Monday.
This came during a meeting held by President AL-Sisi with the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander of Bahrain, Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, and Special Operations Commander, Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, said the Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Mohammad Al-Shennawy.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and reviewed the developments in the Gaza Strip, as well as the Egyptian efforts made in coordination with Qatar and the United States to achieve a ceasefire.
Both sides stressed the need to expedite Humanitarian aid deliveries into Gaza without obstacles, and highlighted the importance of containing tensions in several countries in the region to preserve security and stability. (end)
