Official lauds Kuwait's bronze at Ice Hockey World Championship Division IV

KUWAIT, April 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's bronze medal won during Ice Hockey World Championship Division IV concluded in Armenia's Yerevan on Saturday is continued accomplishments made by the national team, president of Kuwait Winter Games Club Fahid Al-Ajmi said on Sunday.
Speaking in a statement to KUNA following the Kuwaiti team's arrival in the homeland, Al-Ajmi added the "Blue" were about to snatch the title in more than occasion, noting they would eye the upcoming tournament for the third level.
He commended players' robust performance in all games, thanks to efforts made at training camps and the continued support of Public Authority for Sport.
The club will spare no effort to back the team's players to help them upgrade their levels and performance, he said, referring to the excellence of junior players.
In a similar statement to KUNA, player Mashari Mohammad said the championship witnessed high competitive atmospheres, noting that this would inspire players for the best results in the upcoming games.
