Kuwait Society for Relief renovates two schools in southern Yemen

ADEN, Dec 11 (KUNA) - The Kuwait Society for Relief opened Wednesday two schools in the governorates of Taiz and Lahj in southern Yemen, after renovating and furnishing them as part of the "Kuwait by Your Side" campaign, which has been ongoing for the ninth year in a row.
The society office in Yemen noted in a press release that it has completed the rehabilitation of Al-Farouq School in the Directorate of Tur Al-Baha in the Governorate of Lahj and Al-Nahda Secondary School in the Directorate of Al-Shamayatayn in the Governorate of Taiz, which are among the schools built by Kuwait in the seventies and eighties of the last century.
The statement added that the society has completely revamped the two schools, providing them with school and administrative furniture and science laboratories, including a solar energy system to Al-Farouq School and providing a dormitory for teachers. (end) sna.mb
