Yemeni govt reiterates backing to all regional, int'l effort to end crisis

ADEN, March 18 (KUNA) -- The Yemeni government re-affirmed Saturday its support for all regional and international efforts aiming to achieve a lasting political settlement to the conflict.
This came in a statement following a cabinet meeting that mulled the UN, regional and international endeavors to find a political solution to the Yemeni crisis.
It deplored the continued intransigence of the Houthi militia in dealing with these efforts.
The cabinet wished the recent agreement between Saudi Arabia and Iran would help start a new phase in the region, renewing its firm belief in dialogue, diplomacy and peaceful means to settle differences. (end) sns.ibi
