RAMALLAH, Feb 11 (KUNA) -- Palestinian Ministry of Health said that Mithqal Rayan, 27, was shot in the head by a Jewish settler in the town of Qarawet Bani Hassan, Saflit governorate, to the north of the West Bank, on Saturday.
Settlers attacked the Palestinian villagers with gunfire under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, which led to the death of the Palestinian man, according to local sources.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the killing of Rayan at the hand of the settlers, considering it an integral part of series of the bloody policy of the Israeli occupation authorities towards the Palestinian people.
The Ministry held, in a statement, the Israeli government full responsible for this crime, demanding the International Criminal Court to pursue its investigations into the Israeli crimes. (end)
