KUWAIT -- Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Al-Sabah said that the wellbeing of nationals is the utmost priority, in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake that struck southeastern Turkiye and parts of Syria.

RIYADH -- Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hussein Brahim Taha affirmed that all members of the Organization stand in full solidarity with the Republic of Turkiye in the wake of the deadly earthquake.

ISTNABUL -- Kuwait's Fire Force Colonel Ayman Al-Mufareh, said Wednesday, that his team has start search and rescue operations in the earthquake-affected sites and affected areas in Turkiye.

ISTANBUL -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan praised exerted efforts made by the State of Kuwait towards Turkiye and the support it provides in search and rescue operations after the recent devastating earthquake, which caused great losses in lives and property.

AMMAN -- Syrian Minister of Health Hassan Al-Ghabbash said the casualties from Monday earthquake rose to 1,262 deaths and 2,285 injuries so far.

TOKYO -- China urged the US to view China in an objective and rational way, follow a positive and practical policy, and work with China to bring bilateral relations back on a track of stable and sound development. (end) mb
