KUWAIT, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Social Affairs Minister May Al-Baghli on Wednesday called for greater regional cooperation in a bid to deal with a range of social issues, including women and children's affairs.
More cooperation is crucial to get Arab nations on the same page over a myriad of social issues, the minister said on the sidelines of pan-Arab talks in the Qatari capital Doha, bringing her together with her counterparts from across the region.
The matters on the agenda for the talks run the gamut from women's affairs and the fight against drugs to issues concerning people with disabilities. (end) md.nam
