RAMALLAH, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday shot dead a Palestinian near Kedomim settlement close to Qalqilia town in the West Bank.
Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that Aref Lahlouh, 29, fell as a martyr when he was shot by the troops. Witnesses said he was fired upon when he descended from his vehicle near a military blockade.
They added that the occupation forces intentionally left him sprawling in his blood on the ground after shooting him and held the corpse.
Number of Palestinian martyrs has risen to 19 since start of the year. (end)
