MOSCOW, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- Russian Presidency blasted Wednesday Western countries for calling for the fortification of Ukrainian armed forces, dismissing reasoning of ensuring the security of the European continent.
Russian Presidency spokesperson Dmitry Peskov described the United States supply of Abrams tanks and German Leopard tanks to Ukraine as a technological failure, reported TASS news agency.
He also noted that reaching a diplomatic settlement to the Ukrainian conflict seems far off in current times.
On another note, Russian TV mentioned that Zircon hypersonic cruise missile hit its floating target 900 kilometers away, during a test trial in the Atlantic Ocean. (end)
