KUWAIT, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's rally champion Mishari Al-Thafiri came second in the 4T category tournament of the Dubai International Baja in the eighth and final round of the championship.
Speaking to KUNA on Sunday, Al-Thafiri said he had done his best to win the second place in the round of the world championship that took place in Dubai on December 1-3.
He added that the event kicked off in Jordan in March and then moved on to Italy, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia and finally the United Arab Emirates (UAE), pointing out fierce competition among world-famous champions.
Al-Thafiri remarked that he had made this achievement in spite of some technical problems he had during the rally in Italy and Saudi Arabia, vowing that he would seek hard to win the title in the coming event in 2023. (end) my.mt
