Russia, Iran, Turkiye condemns Israeli attacks on Syria

MOSCOW, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- Russia, Iran and Turkiye condemned on Wednesday the continuous Israeli attacks on Syria.
In violation of international and humanitarian laws, as well as Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the three countries; in a joint statement after the 19th international meeting on Syria in the Astana format said Israel's attacks cause instability in the region, stressing the need to adhere to UN international resolutions.
According to a statement by the Kazakh foreign ministry, the meeting discussed the situation in Syria, the promotion of a political process, and the international community's mobilization, as well as latest developments on the northern Syria situation.
The statement also stressed the need to achieve a political settlement to the Syrian conflict through a process led by Syrians, with UN's assistance in accordance with resolution No. 2254, and highlighting the role of the Syrian Constitutional Committee.
It also expressed concern regarding Syria's humanitarian situation.
