KUWAIT, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) said a "limited fire" broke out on Thursday in one of the pumps of gas unit number 33 at a Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery gas liquefaction plant.
"The fire did not result in any injuries," according to a KNPC statement, which added that "export operations at the refinery were not affected" and continued as normal.
The fire was immediately put out by the company's firefighters, it added. (end)
