Assistant Director General of Kuwait Municipality for Development and Information Ahmed Al-Manfouhi
KUWAIT, Dec 25 (KUNA) -- Assistant Director General of Kuwait Municipality for Development and Information Ahmed Al-Manfouhi announced Sunday the launching of an e-service for issuing licenses of makeshift electioneering headquarters to candidates.
"It is a part of the series of services provided by Kuwait Municipality using geographic information system (GIS)," Al-Manfouhi said at a press conference here.
He pointed out the system shows the electoral headquarters in each province and the shortest route leading to them.
Till now, the Municipality has licensed 72 electoral HQs, Al-Manfouhi said, adding that he will address the Ministry of Interior and Kuwait Fire Service about the licensed premises to take necessary security and safety measures necessary.(end) mf.na.ibi KUNA 251734 Dec 11NNNN
