KUWAIT, March 24 (KUNA) -- 1963 -- The Kuwait Bar Association was proclaimed for regulating the profession, ensuring lawyers' sound practice, looking after their interests and rights.
1991 -- Kuwaiti banks re-open for business after the country's liberation from the Iraqi occupation.
1991 -- Fourth edition of the Kuwaiti currency was issued following liberation. Banknotes were identical to those of the third edition, except for color.
1995 -- Kuwait and China sign a military treaty. Minister of Defense Sheikh Ahmad Al-Humoud Al-Sabah signed the accord in Beijing.
2015 -- New multiple sclerosis medicine released in Kuwait, the first country in the Middle East to obtain the remedy.
