KUWAIT, Nov 22 (KUNA)

1990 -- Late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah meets US President George Bush in Jeddah and expresses hope that their next meeting would be held in Kuwait, after liberating the country from the Iraqi occupation.
1999 -- The National Assembly rejects bill on article amendment for a 1962 law, concerning women's participation in electoral process.
1999 -- A Kuwaiti-British team of archeologists discovers ancient tombs dating back to the Bronze Age in As Subbia, north of Kuwait City. The discovery is the first of its kind in Kuwait.
2000 -- Kuwait Oil Company discovers, for the first time, huge quantities of light crude oil in its northern fields. The oil well discovered in As Subbia field is named 'SA 153', and the oil is the purest to be discovered in Kuwait. (end) hb
