1963 -- Social Reform Society is established as a public benefit entity.
1981 -- The Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah adopts law for Kuwait's approval of the statute of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
2002 -- Ministry of Electricity and Water announces a record 7,250 MW daily usage of electricity at 02:45 pm local time. The figure is huge in terms of ratio to population.
