KUWAIT, April 22 (KUNA) -- 1969 -- "Saad" children's magazine was published.
1990 -- Late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah orders the establishment of a National Council tasked with studying negative impact of lack of or inadequate cooperation between executive and legislative authorities.
2001 -- Kuwait wins membership of the executive council of the Union of Islamic Universities.
2001 -- Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) opens gathering center number 28 with a production capacity of 210,000 barrels of crude oil per day, and 143 million cubic foot of gas per day.
2002 -- Kuwait University wins the e-excellence award for best Kuwaiti governmental project.
2003 -- Late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issues decree concerning the unified GCC customs law.
2003 -- Late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issues decree approving subsidiary budgets for ministries and state bodies, virtue of which they are allowed to acquire KD 500 million from the state general reserve.
2008 -- The Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah inaugurates the Third Expanded Ministerial Conference of the Neighboring Countries of Iraq, with participation of 29 countries, as well as regional and international organizations.
