KUWAIT, July 21 (KUNA) -- 1932 -- Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Said phones Sir Francis Humphrey, British senior representative in both Iraq and Kuwait and informs him of the demarcation of borders between Iraq and Kuwait. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah later agrees to these borders.
1963 -- Kuwait opens embassy Islamabad and a consulate in major city Karachi of Pakistan.
1963 -- Kuwait Teachers' Association, a national teachers' labor syndicate, is formed.
1997 -- Businessman Naif Al-Dabbous passes away age 88.
1998 -- In an attempt to distort the facts and drift away from its refusal to release hundreds of Kuwaiti missing persons, Iraq accuses Kuwait of keeping over 1,000 Iraqis, claiming they were captured during Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in 1990.
