KUWAIT, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- 1992 -- Late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah issued decree to form the 16th cabinet. It was chaired by the late Crown Prince Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and grouped 15 ministers, six of whom were members of the Parliament.
2005 -- Kuwaiti artist Ghazi Al-Attar dead at 64 years old, one of the few artists who shined throughout the 60s for his contribution in Kuwaiti art of singing.
2008 -- Ministry Communication launches phase two of the national numbering plan by adding No. 2 for landlines, No. 1 for operators, No. 9 for ZAIN lines, No. 6 for Wataniya, and No. 5 for VIVA lines.
2010 -- Kuwait Oil Company announced its production capacity hit three million barrels per day. (end) mb
