1821 -- The transfer of an english commercial agency from Basra to Kuwait, its work continued until April 1822.
1959 -- The higher council for managing the affairs of the state formed a committee for documenting Kuwait's history, the committee consist of Abdulhamid Al-Sanee, Nesf and Al-Nesf, Mohammad Al-Otaibi, Ahmad Al-Beshr, and Bader Al-Bader.
1960 -- Kuwait joined Arab League Economic Council.
1961 -- The Iraqi regime took over 10 Kuwaiti ships embarked at Basra Port and Iraqi President Abdulkareem Qassim freezes Kuwaiti assets in Iraqi banks.
1963 -- Al-Shabab Sports Club was established in Ahmadi.
1997 -- The Minister of Health inaugurated Kuwait's center for medical rehabilitation and alternative medicine. The project falls in the framework of gaining assistance from foreign medical teams.
1997 -- The Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah inaugurated the new Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC) headquarters. The old building was destroyed by Iraq's military.
2002 -- The Cabinet approved appointment of Air Vice Marshall Fahad Ahmad Al-Amir as Chief of Army Staff.
2004 -- Kuwaiti Parliament approved Amiri grant ordered by the Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to each Kuwaiti citizen, and the grant later distributed in January 5, 2005.
2016 -- Kuwait Red Crescent sign agreement with Qatar Red Crescent to distribute aid to Syrian refugees in Aleppo city.
2016 -- Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) sign agreement to help finance a health network project in Al-Sarfand area south of Lebanon, totaling USD 60 million.
2016 -- KFAED sign a grant deal with Lebanon Children Cancer center, to help contribute to treatment of Syrian refugee children with cancer totaling USD one million. (end) mb
