KUWAIT, March 2 (KUNA) --

1991 -- United Nations Security Council (UNSC) issues Resolution 686 setting terms for the Iraqi regime ahead of proclamation of official cessation of acts of war in Kuwait.

1999 -- Kuwait hosts the first Asian Shooting tournament with participation of shooters from 10 countries in addition to Kuwait.

2006 -- Abdulatif Al-Shayee passes away at age 85. He was a member of the Municipal Council in 1952, member of the Awqaf (endowment) Council in 1955, and member of Al-Ma'aref (knowledge) council in 1960.

2017 -- The Ministry Electricity and Water adopts new rates of the power bills as enclosed in the Law 20/2016. (end) gta
