KUWAIT, July 21 (KUNA)

1932 -- Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Said sent a letter to Sir Francis Humphrey, British senior representative in Kuwait, specifying the demarcation of borders between Iraq and Kuwait, as well as recognizing that Islands of Warba, Boubyan, Maskan, Ouha, Kubbar, Qarouh and Umm Al-Maradem were Kuwaiti properties.
1963 -- Kuwait Teachers' Association was established and actual operations began in October of same year.
1997 -- Businessman Nayef Al-Dabbous passes away at age 88. He was elected member in the Constituent Assembly in 1962 then in the first National Assembly in 1963. He was also member in the Constitution amendment committee that was formed in 1980.
1998 -- In an attempt to distort the facts and drift away from its refusal to release hundreds of Kuwaiti missing persons, Iraq accused Kuwait of keeping 1,037 Iraqis, claiming they were captured during Iraq's invasion and occupation of Kuwait in 1990-91.
2006 -- Kuwait Journalists Association (KJA) is inducted for membership of Brussels-based International Federation of Journalists.
2007 -- Kuwait Interior Ministry announced capture of a sinister pedophile Egyptian national Hajjaaj Al-Saadi nicknamed "The Hawally Monster," who was accused of raping 18 children. He was caught at the airport during his attempt to flee the country.
2016 -- Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) extended to Tunisia a KD 22-million loan to develop its system for fresh water.
2017 -- Kuwait Airyways receives (Al-Wafra) Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. (end) bs
