C) Financial and Administrative Affairs Sector

This consists of:

1) Information Technology Department.
2) Administrative Affairs Department.
3) Financial Affairs Department.
4) Marketing and Public Relations Department.
5) KUNA Center for the Development of Media Skills.

1. The Information Technology Department

The department supervises KUNA Arabic and English news broadcasting. It connects KUNA’s services with international news agencies and international and local communication networks. It also supervises various technical support processes, in addition to developing KUNA's internal and external networks via satellite.

2. The Administrative Affairs Department

This department specializes in applying laws, regulations and administrative decisions and supervises employee affairs.

3. The Financial Affairs Department

The department's task is to propose a financial policy for the agency, and supervise its implementation.

4. The Marketing and Public Relations Department

The Marketing and Public Relations Department undertakes the responsibility for all activities related to marketing the agency's services. It clarifies KUNA's mission, goals and achievements, both locally and abroad. It also takes care of the reception of guests and visitors to the agency, and social and entertainment services for its employees.

5. The KUNA Center to Develop Media Skills

The center, established in 1995, develops and harnesses the skills of KUNA and local and Gulf state media personnel, through training courses, seminars and lectures.
