By Abduaziz Al-Hoseini KUWAIT, March 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah vowed on Monday to take action against anyone who broadcasts photos of missiles' interception or post a piece of footage.
Speaking to KUNA and Kuwait TV News Channel on the sidelines of his visit to the civil defense operations room, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf called for not publishing any photo or footage unless they are published by the competent bodies, urging people to adhere to official statements in this regard.
Whatever deserves to be published will be announced by the state's official channels, he said, stressing that the ministry will decisively take required measures to apply law to anyone whatever his/her post may be.
He underlined the importance of following instructions made by the state for the public interest.
The minister noted that an official statement was made in this regard, and complaints sent to the operations room will be immediately handled through concerned bodies and sirens are activated to protect people and property.
The situation in the country is assuring and this emergency will be overcome, he noted.
Concerned bodies fully do their duties in a spirit of responsibility and shared coordination, he stated. (Pick up previous) tz.hm
